Ingredients
  • Lasagna noodles (12 sheets)
  • Ground beef (1 pound)
  • Italian sausage (1 pound)
  • Onion (1, chopped)
  • Garlic (3 cloves, minced)
  • Tomato sauce (2 cans)
  • Dried basil (1 tablespoon)
  • Dried oregano (1 tablespoon)
  • Salt (1 teaspoon)
  • Pepper (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Ricotta cheese (2 cups)
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese (2 cups)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (1/2 cup)
  • Fresh basil leaves (12 leaves)

    Step 1 Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Step 2 Boil the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

    Step 3 In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, Italian sausage, chopped onion, and minced garlic over medium heat until the meat is browned and the onion is translucent. Drain excess fat.

    Step 5 In a separate bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, and grated Parmesan cheese.
