Classic Bolognese Recipe
Learn how to make a classic Bolognese sauce with this easy recipe.
- Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
- Onion (1 medium, finely chopped)
- Carrot (1 medium, finely chopped)
- Celery (1 stalk, finely chopped)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Ground beef (1 pound)
- Ground pork (1/2 pound)
- Tomato paste (2 tablespoons)
- Red wine (1/2 cup)
- Crushed tomatoes (1 can (28 ounces))
- Bay leaf (1)
- Dried oregano (1 teaspoon)
- Salt (1 teaspoon)
- Black pepper (1/2 teaspoon)
- Parmesan cheese (1/4 cup, grated)

Step 1 Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
