Ingredients
  • Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
  • Onion (1 medium, finely chopped)
  • Carrot (1 medium, finely chopped)
  • Celery (1 stalk, finely chopped)
  • Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
  • Ground beef (1 pound)
  • Ground pork (1/2 pound)
  • Tomato paste (2 tablespoons)
  • Red wine (1/2 cup)
  • Crushed tomatoes (1 can (28 ounces))
  • Bay leaf (1)
  • Dried oregano (1 teaspoon)
  • Salt (1 teaspoon)
  • Black pepper (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Parmesan cheese (1/4 cup, grated)

    Step 1 Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.
